Saison des Dindes Sauvages
Special for Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2009 is Saison des Dindes Sauvage, the season of wild turkeys. This interpretation of our annual Belgian farmhouse ale has been spiked with a wild yeast called Brettanomyces. It adds a zing of earthiness which blends wonderfully with the saison base.
Special special for 2009 is the Saison des Dindes Sauvage Sec Houblonne. This is a dry-hopped variation. It is quite floral and the perfect companion to the family table.
food paringsTurkey and stuffing, and other earthy dishes. The Sec Houblonne is great before a meal, too.
